on a chili sunny day, there was a fire drill at school and all the classes were outside waiting for there teachers. Rosalba walked out with her friends Bianca and nelson, in the middle of a conversation she saw him from far and he really caught her attention. she thought he was a really good looking guy and she liked the way he dressed. since that day she would always see him walking around school and she would always stared at him. one day a guy named Jelany came up to her and told her one of his friends wanted her phone number, she tought it was someone else and she asked him who was that friend so he said "Michael Angelo" the guy that caught her attention in that sunny day of the fire drill. inside of her she was so happy and decided to give Jelany her phone number. they started talking and the first date they had was in school in lunch break they were walking around and that's when he meet her mom. for her it wasn't love at first sight but it still caught her attention. they started going out on November 7, 2009 the day he asked her out by phone sending her a text message, since then she notice a lot of things she likes about him like his eyes, his dimples and his smile. when she talks about him she gets so happy. they like going to the movies and spend time together and there favorite song is "la la la" by LMFAO.
he changed in a good way, he started getting really sweet with her and he decreased his bad habits. rosalba at first didn't see him as the future husband but now that she has 4 months with him she sees her self married with him. there special memory together is when he actually went to Church with her, its special for her because he had never been to Church. one of the hardest thing they been through was when he was going to get locked up and she tought about there relationship and it was depressing because she really likes him alot. he is always telling her he loves her and treats her really good. she laughs alot when she talks about him but when shes with him she acts kind of shy.

Undifferent Friendship

Briana was born and raised up in Los Angeles.
At the end of her freshmen year her mother had told her that they were going to move to Seattle.
Briana was so depress because not only did she have to leave her friends and make new ones in Seattle, but leaving Los Angeles meant leaving her life behind too.
On June 20, 2009 Briana arrived in Seattle. She loved the weather and the enviornment Seattle has. She soon realized that it wouldn't be so bad after all.
Going to a new high school and being a new girl was one of the things that Briana feared and hated.
Briana was new to TEC high school on September 9, 2009. She was nervous because she didn't know anyone in TEC and she thought that making new friends would be hard. She walked anxiously looking for her advisory class.

When she entered she met some sweet friendly girls that soon became her friend.
The "Friendly Girls" happened to also be friends with Lola.

Lola was a girl that Briana had as a classmate in Mr.Martinez's math class.

Lola seemed rude and mean. Yet, Briana thought she would be a good friend that she could get along with.
Lola started facing friendship drama with the "Friendly Girls".
The "Friendly Girls" and Lola stopped talking. Briana noticed that Lola was going to be lonely, due to the separation she had with her ex friends. Briana then decided to talk to Lola.
As time went by, Briana and Lola started talking more and soon, they became really close friends.
Up to this day Briana and Lola have been really close besties.
They have gone through ups and downs, just like a roller coaster, facing boy problems together.
They haven't let any one come in between of their friendship.
This shows that friendship is not based on the differences between the persons, but their will to become something special to that other person.

Jean Ley is a 62 year old women whom worked as a mental health counselor.
As the economy went bad, so did her life.
On June 2008, Ms. Ley had lost her job due to the economic conflicts we are now facing.
She quickly realized how limited her options were. She had little savings and unemployment benefits, but it was not sufficient to support her through this stage. On top of that she was at risk of loosing her home.
Ms.Ley didn't have another option than to turn to her family.
She turned to her older brothers and son. Fortunately, they all agreed that one of them will help her pay the bills if needed.
“If my family weren’t able to help me out at this point, I wouldn’t have a home,” Ms.Ley said. “And I would be struggling.”
“I think money changes everything,” said Matt Ley, of Seattle. “It’s a cliché, but when you lend money to a friend, when you lend money to family, it changes things.”



HARD LEDE-

Fortunately her older brothers and son agreed that one of them would help her out with her bills if it was necessary.
